Awesome Rawsome is based off the idea of a mother and daughter duo, Yvonne and Madisson. Her mother Yvonne, having worked as a vet tech most of her life, continued her education in animal health and welfare. It wasn't long after, that she realized how much an animal's diet pertains and impacts their overall health and wellbeing. She then began diving deeper into the products used in dog food, including additives, food coloring, and many unnecessary fillers. She decided to begin creating her own raw based food, for her personal dogs, and saw a large success in their weight, coat, metabolism, and overall health. The idea of starting a business based on this idea, began to rise as word of mouth traveled and the number of satisfied dogs grew rapidly. 

However, you can't start a business without a creative touch- and that's when Madisson decided to assist her knowledge in the business. Being the youngest of three siblings, she was raised with animals and started her love for dogs at a young age. Her passion for canines never goes unnoticed, as she spends most her time at dog shows, traveling across the states. She recalls her first show at nine years old, and since, has competed at Westminster, the AKC National Championship, and hopes to attend Crufts in the future. 

Owning and showing two of her own large breeds (a Mastiff and a Great Dane), she is fascinated with dog structure, and how much of an impact a dog's diet can affect it. She began her research, and started talking to other handlers, veterinarians, and breeders. The conclusion? To invent a diet based solely on each dog, a better and healthier product that wouldn't disrupt a dogs structure, rather, enhance it! Working with different dog breeds most of her life, she knew there wasn't a "one size fits all" standard when it came to food. Granted, an active sporting dog will never have the same diet needs as a large working breed - so unlike many other companies, they decided it was best to cater to each dogs' individual needs.

When the two minds came together, that's exactly what they did! Creating a diet with trusted ingredients, proteins, and fats, needed for each different dog. A delicious treat for your canine; whether in the show ring, walking through obedience, or a good ol' pat on the head.
